Write to wahyu@ayungavis.com, or in TestFlight tap Send Beta Feedback (or take a screenshot in Alerta and share it from the TestFlight prompt).

Before you start

  • iPhone 16 or newer, iOS 27.
  • Join the beta through TestFlight, then open Alerta and allow the microphone and notifications.

Common problems

Alerta won’t start a session.

It needs the microphone. Go to Settings › Alerta › Microphone and turn it on.

I don’t get alerts when the screen is locked.

Turn on notifications: Settings › Alerta › Notifications. Live Activities show the alert on the Lock Screen too.

I don’t feel anything.

Haptics play even when your phone is on silent. If you still feel nothing, check Settings › Accessibility › Touch › Vibration, and Settings › Sounds & Haptics. You can change each alert’s vibration in Alerta › Settings › Haptics.

It doesn’t name sirens or horns in the background.

Sirens and horns can’t be named while Alerta is in the background, but alerts for something getting closer still work.

The direction looks wrong.

Hold the phone in your hand, or pocket it face-out with the microphones at the top and bottom edges uncovered.

It doesn’t react to my name.

Add your name and danger words in Settings › Name & danger words. The first time, iOS downloads the speech model, which can take a minute.

How do I delete my account?

Settings › Account › Delete account. This removes your account, sessions and emergency contacts.

Still stuck?

Tell us your iPhone model, iOS version and what happened. A screenshot helps.
